Graphite Electrodes
Description: The electrodes carry the electricity that heats electric arc furnaces, the vast majority steel furnaces. They are made from petroleum coke after it is mixed with petroleum pitch, extruded and shaped, then baked to sinter it, and then graphitized by heating it above the temperature (3000 °C) that converts carbon to graphite. They can vary in size up to 11 ft. long and 30 in. in diameter.

The main factory was established in 2012, the registered capital of 10 million yuan, covers an area of 230 mu, is located in the economic Development Zone, Quzhou County, Handan City, Hebei Province. The company is located in the border of Shanxi, Hebei, Shandong and Henan provinces, close to the Qinglan, Daguang Highway. With a total investment of 1 billion yuan, the project is designed to produce 700, 000 tons of calcined petroleum coke annually and utilize the waste heat to produce 1 million tons of steam per year.
